Let me first say to make sure you get here as soon as they open otherwise, you may find yourself waiting... And rightly so. This is an amazing restaurant with amazing food and an amazing staff. While the menu specifies that all of the pasta is made fresh there in the restaurant daily, it does not tell you that they make and cook it perfectly! It is absolutely some of the best pasta I have had. The freshness and bite to it... The sauce was outstanding and even asked for an extra portion of Andouille sausage from the Cajun pasta to take with my leftovers. Portion sizes are large and well worth the cost.Desert options for the day included Carrot Cake which we decided to get. This was probably in the top three cakes of this type we have ever had and my wife loves Carrot Cake, so we have tried a lot of them over the years. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location was beyond clean, with a country decor which includes lots of animal mounts... No worries with us, but if that offends you, well, you will be missing out on some of the best food in the area...All I can say is, highly highly recommended and THANK YOU to our server and chef! We will be visiting again if we are ever in the area.

My lady and I had a wonderful meal here Nov 11th, 2023 and it was grand slam good. The 8 oz filet was cooked perfectly. So tender and juicy, it was fantastic we both lived it. My draft beer was also great. The land around Dubois was very beautiful also. What a drive!

SO GOOD, the food was amazing. We walked in at 5:30pm on a Saturday and we got seated right away. The staff were all smiling, friendly and helpful - 5 for sure. The place was decorated western style and very clean. Bathrooms were spotless. The food, ahmazingly yummy . Service was fast and friendly. The napkins, top notch, almost like cloth, perfect for eating juicy, delicious food. The pot roast was melt in your mouth, tender. The kids menu is funny...and good

The bone marrow appetizer was fantastic. Don't be scared to try it.I ordered a burger medium, but it came closer to rare. It still tasted good. The service was excellent. The servers worked together which ensured we never waited long for refills and the check. The french fries are a hybrid between a potato chip and a french fry... imagine a really thin french fry. Everyone loved the fries.I felt a little uneasy with all the taxidermy looming directly over the table.

Great meal in a small town. We had great cocktails (painted hills and old fashioned), French onion soup, lasagna, and New York strip. Excellent steak and kind staff.

This restaurant is utterly fantastic, especially given that it's in the town of 900 people. They advertised their seafood pasta as being made with house-made pasta, and it absolutely was. Very fresh, perfectly cooked and very generous portions. And the prices were astonishingly low.My dinner companion had a steak dish that was exactly cooked and seasoned as requested. The service was impeccable, and some of the breads they brought, and the caprese salad with tenderloin appetizer were superlative.Seriously, if you're in this small town, make the time to stop by this place and have a fantastic meal.As perspective on the prices, we paid almost as much for two eggs, hash browns and coffee in the morning as we did for the entree at this restaurant.

We had dinner here on9/12/24. The food was very good. The bison medallions were maybe just a little under seasoned for my taste, but still really good. Pasta dish was great. Good beer selection. Our server, Elizabeth, did a great job of making sure everything was just right.
